I Specialise in the diagnosis and management of knee conditions in all age groups.This includes :
trauma and sport related knee injuries which may result in ligament injuries e.g ACL (anterior cruciate ligament injury), Cartilage injury including meniscus injury, fractures, Patella dislocation, wide range of accident related condition of the knee joint.Also non trauma related knee problems such as wear and tear ( Osteoarthritis ) of the knee joint or deformity.
In addition to a comprehensive orthopaedic knee assessment, I utilise advanced investigation and knee imaging when indicated e.g MRI. to confirm your definitive diagnosis.
I will advice you of the treatment options including non surgical , knee surgery whether it is done with open or arthroscopic technique( key hole). I have special interest in cartilage regeneration surgery and cartilage repair.
I have used computer Navigation surgery in the knee since 2005, in particular with Knee replacement surgery including revision (redo) and partial knee replacement(uni compartment replacement)
In 2018 we performed Robotic assisted knee replacement surgery.
